Yelapa: Paradise Getaway from the city

1. From our meeting point we will be going to “Boca de Tomatlán” a fisherman town surrounded by mountains, located south of the bay. From this town we’ll be starting our adventure.

2. Once we get to the coastal town, we’ll be taking the water taxi to our destination: “Yelapa Town”.

3. You’ll be able to lay back and enjoy one of the best rides of the bay.
The boat rides close to the shore, so you’ll get to see most of the exotic southern beaches while looking at the entire mountain.

4. After the ride, we’ll get to the so awaited beach town. Our first spot will be the famous waterfall in the heart of the town. With a height of about 45 mt/ 147 ft.

5. To keep exploring, we’ll take a fast hike on a hidden trail to a natural pool on top of the first waterfall, surrounded by trees and rock formations.

6. Once on the top, we’ll go to the stunning viewpoint just besides the pool. Where we’ll take some of the best pictures you’ll have of your vacation.

7. We’ll start descending to the town, taking pictures of the colorful houses and the streets full of vegetation. Once we finish our walk along the town, we will get to the beach side.

8. . To end the adventure we’ll spend the rest of the time by the beach, where you’ll get the chance to purchase some delicious seafood, drinks (optional & extra) & have a refreshing swim in the ocean. After this, we’ll take the boat ride back to “Boca de Tomatlán”. Then the ride back to Vallarta.
